Shipping & Returns

Are you purchasing a print or original artwork? Due to the sensitive nature of transporting art, returns and exchanges are not offered on prints or original works of art simply for change of mind. From the moment a painting is made, it begins to age. Please familiarise yourself with this shipping & returns policy.

Shipping

Shipping rolled artworks is the most cost effective and safe shipping method. Rolled artworks can be easily stretched by your local framer upon receipt. Shipping an artwork that is already stretched and ready to hang adds to both the weight and insurance cost. All prints must be shipped and cannot be collected in person.

Prints:

All prints are made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks before they are ready for shipping. You will receive a tracking number from the shipping agent within this time frame.  

I understand that it is very tempting, but please resist the urge to open your rolled print or original immediately. I recommend your rolled artwork is only opened by a professional framer, as the artworks are delicate and may be damaged by mishandling.

Originals – Local Pickup (Dunsborough, WA): Free of charge

A3, A2 Prints – Flat: $20
A1, A0 Prints – Rolled: $50

Limited Edition Prints – Rolled: $50
Limited Edition Prints – Stretched and Framed Small: $200
Limited Edition Prints – Stretched and Framed Medium: $250
Limited Edition Prints – Stretched and Framed Large: $300

Returns Policy

Due to the sensitive nature of transporting art, returns and exchanges are not offered on prints or original works of art simply for change of mind.

All artwork is handled with the utmost care during the printing and packaging process. In the unlikely circumstance of your delivery being damaged in transit, please photograph the packaging PRIOR to opening the delivery and then photograph the damaged art inside.

From the moment a painting is made, it begins to age. As the painting continues to age, both the paint film and priming lose flexibility and become brittle. Expansion and contraction of the fabric support, due to absorption and release of moisture from the air, adds further strain which can lead to crack formation.

I do not accept any returns based on artwork ageing.

Send images to hello@sarahmaloneartist.com and I will replace your print with an identical one. For originals that are damaged during transit, I will replace it with a commission.
